Christian Life and Spiritual Growth Seminars
Teachable Moments-Lasting a Lifetime

These seminars are taught for a specific period of time, to a group of individuals, intent on becoming more spiritually mature.  The priority for the seminar is for each individual to learn and apply specific Biblical principles from the study being conducted. Unlike LIFE Groups, the individuals attending the seminar do not continue on as an intact group once the study is completed.   
  
Child care is availabe at a minimal cost on a limited basis for classes that meet on campus if other options, such as other family members, are not available. If child care is provided, the cost is indicated in the class description below.

The Truth Project is the starting point for looking at life from a Biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. This study is a Focus on the Family, DVD-based small group curriculum, comprised of 13 lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. COST: $5 to cover cost of printing.  CHILD CARE:$25 per household per semester.

Starting Pointe is where you begin your spiritual journey with us.  It is a six week discussion-based class where you can gain a better understanding of the basic Biblical principles of the Christian faith.  Whether you are a new believer or you want to grow deeper in spiritual understanding, everyone will benefit from this class.

Have fun while learning how to communicate and make Parkview's Deaf worshippers feel welcomed.  You will be able to learn (or improve on) how to express and read finger spelling, numbers and sign words.  This is an introductory class where you'll be exposed to the history of American Sign Language (ASL), Deaf culture, some grammar and sentence structure.  We'll focus on developing basic conversation skills, and you will have an opportunity to interact with a Deaf adult.

If you love to sing and praise the Lord, then the worship choir is the perfect place for you.  From gospel, traditional, southern gospel, contemporary to modern praise, we offer something for everyone.  No experience is required.  Now is a great time to join as we begin work on our new Easter music.  The Celebration Choir sings one weekend a month, and we rehearse the second, third, and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

A 6 week parenting seminar from Focus on the Family. The goal of the program is to educate parents by increasing drug awareness and giving them the tools needed  to better protect their children.
