For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Our volunteers share Christ's love in tangible ways by serving the community and the church.
Most of us want to make a difference in our world.  God has gifted each of us with a particular set of skills to do just that through the local church.  Jesus, Himself, said that He did not come to be served, but to serve others.  When you volunteer your time and talent at Parkview, you will discover the key to unlocking a life of influence and change.  You will help us in fulfilling our mission - Guiding people to life change in Christ.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

Thank you for your interest in serving at Parkview.  Below are several areas of opportunity for you to use your talents for God.  If you are not sure in what area you might be gifted, you can discover your spiritual gifts by taking this analysis.

How can I get involved?

Volunteers on our Connections Team are the first people our attendees come in contact with.  They serve our people either every week or every other week.  They assist in the parking area, welcoming guests, greeting people as they come in, serving at the Missions Cafe and ushering.
Volunteers on our Facilities Team work behind the scenes to ensure that our grounds and facilities are well maintained, looking and working great.  They clean the church building, maintain the grounds and landscaping, paint, prep for special services and events and much more.
Group Life
Volunteers in Group Life lead groups that create opportunities for gospel centered community to take place. They oversee groups of 12-15 people, develop new group leaders, encourage non-members toward membership and members toward faithfulness, communicate regularly with their group and attend leader functions.
Volunteers in our Hospitality ministry serve at various events at the church throughout the year by setting up, greeting, cooking, baking and sharing with others to create a warm, welcoming environment in which people can further experience life change.
Pastoral Care
Volunteers on our Pastoral Care Team help us demonstrate the love of Christ by making phone calls, visiting or sending cards to those who are in need.
Technical Production
Volunteers help create our worship environment and keep things run smoothly so that our attendees can experience a meaningful connection with the Lord and the church each week.  They run the lighting, sound and slides for weekend services and events.
Volunteers help us tell the stories of life change at Parkview, communicating Who He is and what He has and is doing.  These volunteers serve by creating and telling stories that speak God’s Truth and display His gospel through photography, video, creative writing, editing and other areas.
Volunteers on our Worship Team use their talents and abilities to minister to the church body through expression of worship to God through music.  They lead in song and playing of instruments for weekend worship and other ministries and events.
Handy Man
Volunteers on our Handy Man Team help us demonstrate the love of Christ by helping our widows and single moms by assisting with light maintenance.
Volunteers in Preschool serve children birth through prekindergarten. They have the opportunity to shepherd and care for our littlest ones each week during the weekend services.  They lead classrooms and provide classroom assistance to babies and toddlers.
Volunteers in our Parkview Kids serve our children in K – 5th grades.  They lead the children during weekend worship services through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God’s Word.  They check-in kids for services, lead classrooms, assist classroom leaders, sing and lead games.
Middle School
Volunteers in our Middle School Ministry have the opportunity to help transition students from elementary to high school through strategic relationships intentional on discipleship.  Our volunteers lead small groups, set up for events and create a safe, Christ-centered environment where life change can take place in the lives of students.
High School
